Moments in NYC

nyc collage

My husband and I rarely have a chance to get away without the kids. A couple of weeks ago, the stars were aligned and I had an opportunity to join Martin at the end of his business trip in New York. Lucky for us, we just missed two storms. It was cold but, as you can see, we kept warm with good food and good times.

Clockwise from top right:
A sweet arrangement of small vessels with tiny cut flowers at ABC Carpet – perfect for tabletop decor.

The now famous Blythe dolls at Bottega Veneta were a little spooky.

A slice of the candy bar pie at Milk Bar, a new form of torture.

Pork buns and jasmine iced tea at má pêche, no sharing next time.

A lovely display of my daughter’s favorite dolls by Jess Brown at ABC Carpet.

An amazing dinner at Telepan, wild striped bass and lemon tart.

One of my favorite kitchens, The Breslin.

Outside the beautiful New York Public Library Beaux Arts building.
